St. George Lenten Penance Service has been Cancelled

Dear parishioners, under the new directives from the diocese, we are cancelling our Lenten Penance service, that was to be held on Wednesday, March 18. At this time, please stay home and make a perfect act of Contrition, then offer your prayers to God.

Act of Contrition
O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins because of thy just punishments, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to sin no more and to avoid the near occasion of sin. Amen.

Queridos feligreses, según las nuevas directivas de la diócesis, estamos cancelando nuestro servicio de Penitencia Cuaresmal, que se realizaría el miércoles 18 de marzo. En este momento, quédese en casa y haga un acto perfecto de contrición, luego ofrezca sus oraciones a Dios.

Acto de Contrición
Dios mío, me arrepiento de todo corazón de todos mis pecados y los aborrezco, porque al pecar, no sólo merezco las penas establecidas por ti justamente, sino principalmente porque te ofendí, a ti sumo Bien y digno de amor por encima de todas las cosas. Por eso propongo firmemente, con ayuda de tu gracia, no pecar más en adelante y huir de toda ocasión de pecado. Amén.
