Directions from the Diocese regarding the Coronavirus

Dear brothers and sisters, with to the arrival of the Covid-19 or Coronavirus into our city, the Diocese of San Bernardino has given us directions on what we can do to slow down it down.  Below, you will be able to download the letter from Bishop Gerald Barnes regarding the Coronavirus and the new diocesan liturgical directives that we are following.

And until further notice, Bishop Barnes is granting a special DISPENSATION under the Code of Canon Law for any and all Catholics regarding the Sunday Mass obligation in our diocese.  

We will continue to have Masses and Confession at regular hours.  We will continue to have our Stations of the Cross every Friday (English at 5pm, Spanish at 6pm and Vietnamese at 7pm).  Our Lenten penance service will still be held on March 18, 2020 at 7pm in the church.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas, con la llegada del Covid-19 o Coronavirus a nuestra ciudad, la Diócesis de San Bernardino nos ha dado instrucciones sobre qué podemos hacer para frenarlo. A continuación, podrá descargar la carta del Obispo Gerald Barnes sobre el Coronavirus y las nuevas directivas litúrgicas diocesanas que estamos siguiendo.

Y hasta nuevo aviso, el Obispo Barnes está otorgando una DISPENSACIÓN especial bajo el Código de Derecho Canónico para todos y cada uno de los católicos con respecto a la obligación de la misa dominical en nuestra diócesis.

Continuaremos teniendo misas y confesiones a horas regulares. Continuaremos teniendo nuestro Vía Crucis todos los viernes (inglés a las 5 p.m., español a las 6 p.m. y vietnamita a las 7 p.m.). Nuestro servicio de penitencia cuaresmal todavía se llevará a cabo el 18 de marzo de 2020 a las 7pm en la iglesia.
